I recently took my Kiss apart and mirror finished the blade (no more bead blast for me). Unfortunatley, that was a while back, and I don't fully remember how it goes back together. Now I have an extra white plastic washer. (The smaller one). Any idea where it goes? Thanks!

PS - It seems to function fine without it - I just hate having extra parts.

Aha! The old extra part ploy! My philosophy is that if you take "it" apart and put it back together enough times ("it" being anything from knives to carburetors) you soon will have enough parts to build another one!!

Baraqyal,

Actually the two washers go together however, I found that if I left the smaller one out it fit back together tighter and made the gap between the blade and the handle smaller. Try that, if it dosen't work better for you then just put both washers together.

Hope that helps.

I had thought that when I had taken mine apart that the smaller washer went on top of the blade and larger between the blade and handle. However, this was a while ago and I don't even know if I still have the thing...

I sorta figured that was the case. When I put it back together without it, it seems to fit better. I think I'll leave it that way. Thanks for all your help.
