CRKT Kuk (Kukri) - anybody got one?

Anyone have or played with the CRKT Kuk? If so how did you like it? How does it stack up to other kukris you own or use?

It seems a bit lighter than other ones out there.
16 inches, 15 ozs.

A couple contenders in the under $100 basic utility kukri category:

Ontario Knife Co. 17 inches, 18 ozs.

Ka-Bar, 17 inches, 20 ozs.

I don't own one, but have been interested in it since it's using 65mn steel - which are also used in the 'camp' knives from kershaw. It looks like a very good steel for the chopper/machete types. Basically 1060 or 1065 with more Mn (up to 1.1% it seems)

Some of the best user khuks available for the money are on the B.F. sub-forum Himalayan Imports. Nepali. They have user grade (VUK) khuks in the same price range that you are looking at. What you've posted is a K.L.O.--Khukri Like Object.
