I don't own one, but have been interested in it since it's using 65mn steel - which are also used in the 'camp' knives from kershaw. It looks like a very good steel for the chopper/machete types. Basically 1060 or 1065 with more Mn (up to 1.1% it seems)
Some of the best user khuks available for the money are on the B.F. sub-forum Himalayan Imports. Nepali. They have user grade (VUK) khuks in the same price range that you are looking at. What you've posted is a K.L.O.--Khukri Like Object.
