CRKT M21 Liner Lock Issues [Help Needed]

Hey all, I really could use some help. I firstly would like to say I did try to search but my problem is a little too vague yet specific so I thought I would ask.

I just received my CRKT M21-02g 3 days ago and the liner lock is still extremely hard to move. I can't close the liner lock/knife without using a lever (such as a popsicle stick). I have worked it so much that both of my thumbs and index fingers (because of the additional safety) are raw and have water blisters. My fingers are so sore I have to use the popsicle stick to manipulate/work the liner lock.

I want to mention that I have tried a spray on Teflon lubricant and as said good old fashion hard work (thus my poor fingers) and it hasn't helped break in the lock.

Now after 3 days it even seems the liner lock sticks more (is harder) and the flipper doesn't deploy the blade fully anymore (like it did on the first day).

Please could you guys give me some advice/tips on things to try. If I can't improve it there is no way I could depend on this thing enough to carry it.

Thanks

I have had experience with a few liner locks that were very hard to move at first I assure you that it will become easier with time, it has to . Either the liner or the tang is going to wear enough so that it becomes easier. Also have you tried messing with the pivot? It just takes a flat head screw driver right?

I have to ask an obvious question but you didn't mention it: are you correctly disengaging the autoLAWK while pushing the liner lock back? I find it a clumsy multi finger process that has to be coordinated just so.

And that is my thinking as well, I was just hoping/looking for some tips or tricks to make it easier but you are right. And yes the pivot screw is a flat head screw driver so I may mess with that.

I should have mentioned that; but yes I am, I disengage the autoLAWK and then the liner lock.

Anymore help/tips is greatly appreciated.
