CRKT made in China

IME knives made in Taiwan are significantly better, in general, than knives made in mainland China.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Taiwan made knife.

I've had many Taiwan made knives that I was very pleased with - from Timberline, CRKT, Boker, Cold Steel, Spyderco, and other companies.
Excellent fit and finish and very sharp blades.

Whereas I've never had a mainland China made knife that I really liked.

What I do like about CRKT is that even in today's economic climate they bring a very varied portfolio with knives by different designers. That's cool.
They are priced right for the occasional user, which is cool and savvy as well.
What I think lacks, is an option to buy at least a number of their designs with a higher end blade material. That could satisfy the knife nuts.
