It does not get much easier. For me its like aus8 or 420HC.
If you are just learning it is a great choice!
I remember how frustrating it is to learn but after a few hundred times you will get really good.

Easy peasy, be it by ceramics, steel or stropping, it just gets razor sharp in a minute.
Drawback being it dulls as quickly.
But if it dulls on you, just use a coffee mug or a plate when having dinner.
I have done it many times with the Minimalists....it's also a great way to practice sharpening, as BellaBlades says!
