CRKT New Ripple

Update: Just about sent the Ripple back but thought what the heck! Oiled it up with some lithium grease and did some more adjusting ,,,, got the bearings to really smooth out and blade centered! Hard to explain but put a small rubber band on it while closed and opened and closed it hundreds of times on the edge of a roll of duct tape,,,,,, it's now opening lots better and figure this will be faster and cheaper in the end than waiting for a replacement :-) I really like this knife and now have a super edge on it so think after fooling with it ill have what it should have been like at 1st!!!!!! Not as pissed as I was so now thinking about an Enticer? Anybody have one?
 
Do you think they are ever going to release one is S30V? I keep holding out on the nicer ones hoping they will release something a little more special. I have two of the older cheap versions.

Man I thought $30 for my swindle was a deal. You mentioned the ripple has washers. If they are brass like the ones in the swindle then the newer ripples have 5 or 6 bearings press fit into a brass washer. Thats whats in the swindle. They are almost identical to what Benchmade uses in the BM53 mangus balisong. Its a similar idea to the KVT system and what Spyderco uses in the southard. I prefer regular IKBS for the smoothness but the Swindle I have is plenty fast and smooth. Much easier to reassemble too which i bet was a factor. Very nice knives. I envy your ripple.
 
I like that new profile too. Did they ever address that sharp corner next to the pocket clip? I ended up sanding my old ripple to round it out a bit.
