they are made outta thick plastic for one and i also dont like the way they go on the belt/pants/etc, one is mostly for a neck knife IIRC and its hard to imagine anyone packing the thing around your neck, maybe andre the giant, not to mention how cheap they look, a good kydex sheath with a decent clip is 10X as good imho. i dont like the sheaths at all if ya do, great, thats why they have chocolate and vanilla, but i dont like them at all, very poor design.
