I am strongly considering to buy this folder, imo it's very good looking. I am just wondering if anyone in here owns it and if they can give me their opinions of it?

Thanks in advance :)

I own two Ripples, CRKT knives being a guilty pleasure of mine.

The blade rides on the Ikoma-Korth Bearing System (IKBS), and may be the smoothest pivot mechanism you'll get at it's price point. It snaps open, although you can also open it two-handed, like a traditional.

The pocket clip holds the knife very securely, but causes a hot spot on your hand if you grip too tight. I removed the clip from both of mine, and I think it gives them a "steampunk" look (another favorite thing of mine).

The smaller Ripple is more pocket-friendly without the clip, but the larger one is more practical for cutting chores.

I have both sizes and like them, though I believe they have undergone a design/materials change since I bought them so your mileage may vary.

Nice looking design, I agree that the pocket clip creates a hot spot but that's true of must clips IMO. I find the thin and flat shape makes them carry well, and fit and finish better than most CRKT products, perhaps Ken Onion stayed on top of QC for them?
