CRKT Ripple feedback?

Talked to CRKT at Blade and was told by one of the senior staff that orders from dealers for the original stainless steel Ripple would continue to be filled for the remainder of the year, so production on those has not ended.

Also there will be a revised Ripple (Ripple 2?) probably in 2013. Design/redesign will be done by Ken Onion!:thumbup:

I also mentioned the rather inconsistent f&f issues with the Ripple and he said they were going to work hard to eliminate those problems.

It wasn't really clear what materials would be used.
My impression was they are just in the concept stage and choice of materials will come later.

He did say they were looking at doing less CNC work on the handles. The CNC on the current version(s) takes a lot more time than I would have thought.
Reducing the complexity of the handle pattern would also make it easier to get more consistent handle finish and appearance, which has been a problem.
