CRKT/Ruger COMMEMORATIVE Knife R100WRFE SERIAL #4 out of 200

Could someone tell me what I have just bought for $150! It is serial #4 of 200, NIB WITH ALL OF THE PAPERWORK. PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I have looked everywhere on the internet with NO joy. I have contacted CRKT AND Ruger to no avail.

Seriously, he was pointing out the rules. Besides asking for a picture of the knife, to better I.D. it.

Starting out this way, never ends well for new people. Welcome to the forums, post a pic, so we can help.

You'll need to use an image hosting site, like imgur or flickr, or become a paying member. That way you can post from your PC or phone.

Peculiar thing is, I see the same knife with two different markings.

Here's one-

I can't explain the different markings, and that one appears to be from a series of 200, and another from a series of 300. Perhaps some are fakes, or perhaps there were multiple runs from CRKT. The first knife pictured does say "First Edition", but I don't know.

It looks like the one marked "WBR" (third one I posted) was sold with a commemorative Ruger MK IV pistol as a set, just like the set on Kniferights website.

I could believe the other two (200 series and 300 series) are two separate runs. It's not uncommon for "Limited Edition" knives to have more than one production run.

Thank you for the responses! For a knife that sold new in 2016 for $300, I think I did pretty good!

There were apparently1000 serialized pistols made, and each one came with a knife that had a matching WBR number. The only way to get the knife was buy the gun, about $900 new at the time.
The knifes value is intrinsic, the real value depends on if its with the gun with the matching number.

I have this one I bought off ruger's website. I paid $300 but later I think they were on sale for $150.

CRKT always has had great designs and worked with excellent makers.....They just started using cheaper and cheaper materials...........Only a.knife in A sub par steel wouldn't have it etched etc. on the blade itself....Especially when these came out....It was and has been pretty much the norm for a good bit.....

Great way to try a.favored makers designs though...... Maybe....

I just talked to CRKT and they told me that the only thing they could say was that they were all shipped them to Ruger. The first to be produced were the first edition (to make sure they met Ruger standard of approval), next was those serialized to the pistols then the limited edition.
