Croatian knives

Does anyone know a knife maker by the name of Leroy Besic? He passed away. Any idea what's his ethnic background? Sounds Croatian.
 
This knife is from a custom knife maker from Croatia. Should have it in my hands in less than two weeks. In the mail now and customs takes a long ass time! The blade is CPM 10V. He works with many different steels and his fixed blades have some style to them too! This is made by Dario at Darac steel. I have 6 knives from where my family comes from, and would like to pass them down through the family.
