Crooked knife, hatchet, whittling and other interesting stuff.

I think that's a bit unorthodox, but if you feel comfortable with it, stick with it. :) The way I sharpen my knives is kind of "wrong" but I've learned how to do it well.

I thik it has been said that the bevel depends on what you mean to do with the knife . Cliff mentioned that a draw knife may have a convex edge on one side and just a few degrees taken off the other side for certain kinds of work .
