That is how I ordered mine, all black from one end to the other. 20CV blade, G10 handles. Can't wait to get mine.
Good call. Part of me wishes I ordered it in 20CV but this is my new work knife and will get beat up on so I went with S30V as it is supposed to be tougher (according to Benchmade's site.)

I also wish I got wood scales. My biggest complaint is how slick the handle is. I choose g-10 specifically because I thought they would be grippier than the wood but its slicker than snot.

Overall its a fantastic knife, so much so I'm considering getting another in the aforementioned configuration.

Yeah same here. That's my biggest complaint with my 710. Slippery handles. I may be looking into some custom textured handles for my new CR....

I got a first production Mini Crooked River maybe back in January, and its probably my favorite benchmade so far. I love the original too, but its just a bit too big for edc.

The wood handles sure look nice. I almost went that way but I thought the G10 might have a bit more traction.

If you zoom in on the wood scales you'll see a texture.
Probably not as pronounced as G-10 but not slick at all.
