Crossada Blade!

Yeah, I figured that if you use PKs, you must use the kin jit.

Man, do I love double knife! I would prefer to fight with two blades any day. Its hard to find training partners who are experienced in double knife play though. I've found that many fighters work both knives too symmetrically. Fortunately my new training partner, Tom Sotis, is wicked deadly with two blades, so we've been having a lot of fun exploring some fantastic two blade tactics and principles. I can honestly say that he is taking my double blade skills to a whole new level from a strategic viewpoint.

I'm happy fighting with either both blades in sak-sak(hammer grip), or with the lead hand in pakal(reverse grip) and the rear hand in sak-sak. Its just a slightly different fight in terms of your options. I agree that it is cool to have the pakal strikes and checks instantly available without having to spin the knife.

Man, this is making me want to go play. Its a miserable rainy day here in Southeastern Mass.- perfect for going down to the training room, turning up some serious tunes, and working out until you can't move anymore
