crow without a guard

The crow knife is cool but what would it be without the guard? Is there another model that is the same thing? A crow without a guard (to me) would be a great piece.

On mine, I plan to work the guard down to a small, oval disc. I suppose it wouldn't be hard to take it down level with the bolster. Is that what you mean? Why, though ?

I thought about the way you state it a small oval disc that would be enough if you wanted a guard. Without the guard I think it would still be a great knife. By the way "why? " ...it's like a Harley

I, personally, like a little guard now and then...

Well if you look at the blade shape the weight size etc... Compare it to a Buck of the same size.

If you want to have a guard on it this would be a great knife to send to Dan to get one of his guard and handle jobs like the bowie photo on his site.
