Crowbar to knife

Anyone ever forge a knife from a crowbar? How does the steel hold yp and is it oil or water quench?

Hey Peter, I haven't made a knife from any crowbars but I've eyed them myself. I've heard that they may be L6, in which case they would make excellent knives. I've been meaning to call a few manufacturers to see what exactly they are made of, (add it to the "to do" list!).
