Crowdfunded Spyderco?

I see "crowd funding" as a means for a startup to get needed capital. For an established company like Spyderco? No way.

Do you consider that an improvement or upgrade?

This sounds like a trick question, haha. I guess neither an improvement or upgrade. Just different, maybe. I like VG10 well enough, but frankly, my DB is the only Spydie I have in that blade steel. In fact, now that I think about it, it's the only knife from anywhere i have in that steel so....I guess I'm more comfortable with S30V.

For my point before, concerning bringing back some older designs as a low numbered sprint, so to speak, was an attempt to support the practice of using crowd sourcing. I just used the DB as an example because that's what I know. I don't have a huge Spyie collection ranging over many years. So I leave the choices to much wiser folk. [emoji1]

Doesn't sound that much different than the traditional forum knife. Think you would need sparks blessing for any mention of bladeforums on it
