Hello all. I have a bit of Cru Forge V that I am offering for sale. I am asking what I paid for it which is $4.00 a pound, plus shipping.
Shipping can be done two ways. I can cut it into 3' lengths and ship in a tube by UPS or cut into 11" lengths and put into USPS flat rate boxes. Shipping will be actual cost.

Size of the Cru Forge V is 1.25" x .25

A 36" length weighs just over 3 pounds, so $12.00 per 36" bar plus actual shipping

How hard is this stuff to drill and cut???
I do stock removal not forging.... Sooo is it Carbide bits and end mills to make a dent in this stuff?

Hi Robert,

Well, since all i do is forge I went out to the shop and had to check so I would be 100% sure . Just as I thought it drills and cuts fine in bar stock as i got it from Crucible, just like any other carbon steel a guy gets in bar stock. Just to add I havent had a problem after forging either. A guy just has to normalize / anneal it just like any other steel after forging. Hope this helps!
