Farid Crucible CPM-REX-121 choppers
These are the first fixed blades ever to be made from CPM-REX-121 Crucible steel. 1/2" thick, taper tang, titanium lanyard hole tubes, black paper micarta handles. 68-70RC, 15" overall.
This sale is for ONE knife (Bottom chopper in the picture).

Cool Stuff and nice design! I need to find out more about this steel. Pretty high on the RC!
 
Just curious, how many belts did you go through grinding one of those?

I made both knives together and I used around 50 ceramic belts 50 grit, 6 to profile both blades and the rest to grind, then heat-treat and then grind to final size.

holy moley! What an awesome creation,it must have taken some serious determination to carve that beast out.I really like that one.
