Crusader Forge, Trident, Raidops - Differences?

Crusader Forge and Trident are the same people, with a name change. Raidops is a Korean based maker.

What he said mang,I owned a Crusader Forge and it was a Sweeet knife(Overland?)but I just scored a mint RaidOps Silent Soldier Heliborne and I can tell you this one is a keeper:)

Why did Crusader Forge change its name (or vice versa), and was there any difference that resulted to the products as a part of the transition?

my 2010 fifp flipper certificate of authenticity is titled --Trident Knives tm/ Crusader Forge tm. call the company if you have questions about titles.---dennis

I had a Crusader Forge FIFP folder pass thru my grubby hands some time ago - did a tabletop review of it :

I got rid of it because it wasn't a great cutter at all - it was a tough as nails folding pry bar.

Cannot speak to Raidops - never had one.

Kinda wished I kept it - especially since they are hard to come by - but I just wasn't going to carry it since the blade was so thick.

Both are excellent, super-heavy duty knives backed by excellent customer service. Crusader Forge's triple-treated S30V is exceptionally hard. I've been hoping some of our testers would take a look at it. Both makers are artists. If you like this kind of knife -- and I have both -- you'll like these makers.

Great, that's the kind of thing I'm looking for. So CF/Trident knives have exceptional blade steel, better than the Raidops knives? What other differences would people describe between the two brands?
