Cruwear fixed blade

I am interested in trying our cruwear in a fixed blade model, mid tech or custom. Can anyone chime in with a particular model they like or maker who works with cruwear?

For whatever reason, most production companies don’t use it. I’m guessing it’s because the steel is close in properties to CPM-3V, so why not just use 3V.

I would recommend checking out the custom makers section in the Exchange or some of the knife makers forums that have hosted forums like @ShannonSteelLabs

I have a few blades in Cruwear by a TPK (tactical pterodactyl knives) and they are totally worth the investment if the designs speak to you.

I have the Wilderness Explorer model in Cruwear. It obviously is the upper knife.

Wilmont Knives has used Cruwear. My K25 is Cruwear. Great steel.

I'm pretty sure Phil Wilson works in cruwear. I have a few of his knives (none in cruwear), each in different steels. They are a pleasure to use and his heat treat is spot-on.
