Cry of the Wild

Let it out or suffer, most of our problems stem from holding things back and developing conditions as a result, so let it out, you'll feel better and then you'll be able to think clearly

I'm tougher than you want to hear about, or would likely believe, and have had tears streaming down my face several times just watching the DVD set of the PBS series on America's national parks, recently.

This was a very moving series. I got a little misty eyed watching this. :o

A man should be no more ashamed to cry than he would be to laugh. Both are a bi product of abundance of emotional stimulation.

I saw the most amazing rainbow the other day and just had to record the event. It touched me deeper than any other refracted light has before.

Please don't laugh...

I rarely cry over real things. I do cry over movies. Just me I guess. The only time I cried in the wilderness was on an outting on the Columbia River in my jet boat. We were on an island and my 12 year old daughter disappeared. We searched for hours. Then I found a NOT abandoned hobo camp with no one in it. The tought of what might of happened broke me down. After 6 hours my son found my daughter sitting on a log deep in a swamp. She was OK. She liked to run away. I have cried over her many times. But that is in the past. She is now married to a Doctor and has 6 kids. All of them are great.

I was making a dead fall with a pretty big rock and the sticks didn't hold to well. WHAMO! the rock landed on my fingertips. I didn't cry like suzy. but it hurt like a SOB. It for sure brought a tear to my eye. I then did the MF dance shaking my hand. I had to hike 2 more days and put up my tent and all that stuff with hurt fingers. that night I rolled over the fingers in the night. yikes. that hurt.

A few years back I was at Lyman Lake state park in Arizona and decided to hike the short Hieroglyphics trail. Being such a short trail I opted for my open toed sandals insted of my regular hiking boots. 1/2 mile in I came around a corner and stubed my foot into a bowling ball sized boulder. When I looked down my first 4 toes were pointed north but my pinkie toe was pointing Southeast........................I cried!!!

i cried my eyes out when i buried my dog, at an unofficial pet cemetery (no S) in the desert. :(

i went on my 3rd bow hunt [3rd hunt too] a month back and made my 1st kill on the last morning of the hunt.the animal was a Blue Wildebeest calf that i was asked to kill [broke it's leg in a poacher's snare] while stalking a herd.
when i got to the animal after it collapsed [about 100 mts from where i took the shot] i choked a bit, being my 1st kill, remorse and pity for the creature.
