CS Bushman Mods

My new bowie bushman with the pocket sheath does not have the hole drilled in the handle!!!! I guess they forgot in china!! Makes cord wrap/ spear anchoring impossible, not impressed and it now sits in the dust. Too bad as it looked like a winner.
 
You could drill a hole in it without too much trouble. Seems like the thing to do. Mac

You can simply leave it loose until the end of the process then tuck it up under the wrap as you complete it. :)

looks like CS bushman but actual a Formosan boar hunting knife
 
Those are very cool blades. I seriously doubt a boar would know the difference between one of them and the large CS Bushman. It makes you wonder if the concept came from them. Mac
 
The photo I found is inTaiwan web site, the maker is a farming tools blacksmith shop. it is a variation of bill hoonk knife, the differenance is the blade. square head call wood knife, cuvre blade call bill /grass hook knife, drop point is the boar hunting(aslo name mountain or savage) knife. it is an agricultural tool in the local.

can't buy one, I think most blacksmith in the US could make one without any problem

the local price from usd$ 35 to 100, Damascus blade is about $ 300

material is leaf spring.
