Hey I have to say I love the test videos Cold Steel is doing. What I would like to ask is what knives would you want to see them test next?
Here is my list
ZT 0562 vs American Lawman
Ferrum Forge Ferox vs Ultimate Hunter
Benchmade Barrage vs Swift
Strider SMF vs Recon 1
I could add a few more but this seems like a good start and full disclosure I am mostly interested in seeing how the competitors do than the comparison itself.

I'd love to see a Strider vs. Recon 1, would be highly entertaining to see Cold Steel show up Strider a second time! :D

PLEASE TEST AGAINST SPYDERCO'S UPDATED MIDLOCK, as on the Native 5!!!!!! It is a great competitor for the Triad lock, I think.

Good list, I think the swift vs the barrage would be interesting. I think a zt 0550 would do well, to get some cred back for the framelock. Other than that...fixed blades maybe? [emoji4]

I think this would be a great test. G-10 Native 5 against a Mini Recon 1.

I'd also love to see the Recon 1 up against an Emerson of some sort.

I'll second the OP's BM Barrage vs Swift suggestion

Benchmade Griptilian vs American Lawman

Make that three! At a minimum, testing the RAO against, say, the 4-MAX should get a lot closer to revealing just how much the Tri-Ad can take than any knife Andrew has previously tested. Win or lose, I'd be totally down with that. :)

I would like to see a strider also tested or a compression lock.
I think they did a PM2. It did very well. But lost. I love the compression lock, its ease of use more than offsets the Tri-Ad's superior strength.
I own an SMF. It will fail miserably if pitted against a Recon 1 or an AK-47.

Since the RAO is a bogus knife overall -- the 2ndary lock screw pin being the literal bolt in Frankenstein's Monster's neck -- it just might only, to me, be an avenue to test to the limit the most powerful production Tri-Ad lock ever devised. Though as I said so very long ago, should the 4-Max 'fail', the lock will not be the culprit before the blade -- as we saw with the Voyager, in which the AUS8A blade snapped from the 461lb driven torsion.

On the flipside, high grade aluminum or not, it is still aluminum and it will most likely warp under the stress gleaned. If and when the RAO succumbs, this will be the reason. The N690 won't snap, the stop screw wont shear, the aluminum handle however may just melt from the blade, like juicy chicken from the bone.

I for one want to see the match up.

Also let me add to the list the Benchmade Adamas.

A suitable balisong comparison would be nice. I'm thinking BRS Alpha Beast or BM 62. It'll breeze through the spine whack & overstrike tests. I'm guessing the tang pin/zen pin will fail in the weight hang, depending on the model. Would love to see it either way.

Great suggestions I've actually commented on a few of the CS vids asking for the 830 what a cool knife the only draw back I see would be the thinner blade stock. The other lock I think of now is SOG's wanna be arc lock with the plastic components I wish someone would tell SOG to drop that thing.

Just rewatched the Bedlam vs Talwar vid. Got an XHP Talwar inbound from the exchange here. Looking forward to it.
