Thinking about getting a CS Trailhawk as my first hawk. Looking for suggestions on who to spend my money with.

I've used knivesplus for a couple of purchases with zero problems.

1sks is an obvious good choice. That's the sponsor of this site. I've also had zero problems ordering from there.
 
I've had good luck dealing directly with Cold Steel's Special Projects folks in the past.
 
Bought one recently from Smoky Mountain Knife Works for $28. They have free shipping on orders over $50 until Dec. 11. Usually it is free for orders over $100. It is a great store and well worth visiting if you are visiting the Smokies.
 
For Canadians, Warriors and Wonders is definitely the best place to get any CS products,and many other brands as well.
 
I've heard not-so-good things about their "Trail Boss" axe. Of course, it's a different axe entirely, but just giving you a heads up.
