I'm curious if any one has the CS Imperial Tai Pan, if so was it worth it. How good is the quality. Would I be better off to just buy the Tai Pan. Does anyone know of a better price than the factory MSRP. of $799.00.

He who walks in the valley of death, better carry a gun or knife. Only then shall he fear no evil.

If you buy the cs imperial tai pan it's mostly for the looks and perhaps an increase in value as they are limited in numbers(I think only 500 were made). If you're looking for a double edged knife that you would carry everyday maybe try the cs peacekeeper. It's even cheaper than the regular tai pan and it's done in carbon V. I also heard that you can't find a cheaper price for the imperial tai pan other than what cold steel offers (correct me if I'm wrong). I think the same thing goes with their traditional tantos as well.

Unless you intend to buy it purely as a collector, and have money to burn, buy the regular tai pan. JMHO
