CS Large Espada Couple questions

I just recently bought a large Espada. I think the scales are micarta and I really like the looks including the Polish on it. I am trying to find out two things.
1) Does CS make the New Caledonian with the scales and high polish like this knife?

2) Any tips on rapid one hand deployment?

According to the 2016 Cold Steel catalog, the handle scales are polished G10.

As far as opening it quickly one-handed is concerned:

You have to take the time to get used to it. Learning how to move your hand up the handle of the knife after it has been pulled from the pocket takes time.

Opening it by inertia after pulling it from the pocket works very well too.

Thanks very much for your help with this. Didn't know these were G10. I think the learning curve will just take me some time. I got used to my CS Spartan in no time, but this knife will take some getting used to. Nice looking knife. Wish someone locally carried the Caledonian so I could see it too and compare them, though I think it would be like comparing apples to oranges, plus I think the Caledonian is no longer being made.
 
The Espada's Wave thumb plate is the best among all Cold Steel folders, IMO.
Just snag in the pocket seam and opens lightning fast
