I have had a Cold Steel Master Hunter for a while and have used it a lot and want to sharpen it. I am new at doing it myself and was wondering if any one knows what angle needs to be used when sharpening the blade? Thanks for any info.
I don't know the factory angle, but I reprofiled my Master Hunter on the Sharpmaker to 15 degrees per side. (30 inclusive) and it worked beautifully. The knife now is very quick and easy to sharpen on the Sharpmaker, and it cuts, and holds an edge better than ever.
