This got here today. I liked the idea of a large heavy duty folder for survival carry. This is a brute of a folder and lock like fort Knox. The folders steel handle may not be real comfortable for prolonged use but with cloves it would be fine. I have seen people use different methods to make the grip for user friendly. I snapped a picture of it along with the Mora Craftline (clipper size) to compare . Our weather is starting to look more like spring. Once the flooding is over, I have lots of new toys to test.

Nice score, I keep looking at those myself, make sure to give us a write up soon !!!!

Whoa, I didn't realize how big those were. They look like they could take soem abuse, and the price is right on them, nice score.

I have one of these and it is a very good blade for the price. It locks up great though one must be careful both opening and closing due to the the plungers tendency to pinch ya. I use it as a backup/kit knife. I was impressed and pleased with it overall.

Although I haven't owned one, rather borrowed, I believe they can do many tasks quite well, even though I don't have any hard use on one yet. I will soon enough, though. When I get one myself.

I bought one and it is quite a knife for $30 or so. The only way I can close it is to grab it with my right hand, pull the cord with my left and push the back of the blade against something to close it about 30 degrees. Then CAREFULLY close it the rest of the way keeping my fingers out of the way.

To heavy and large to EDC?. Yeah I think you are right there. At one time I carried a Buck 110 every day, year around and used it for everything. However after carrying some of the newer light weight folders, it now feels like a brick.:D

Still love it though and for a all around knife for hunting and camping, I can handle the weight.

I bought one as a back up knife for precisely the reason that it can easily be opened and used even wearing mittens. Given that manual dexterity is often lost in cold situations, I thought this to be a valuable feature.

This knife has been off my radar for some reason, but it's pretty cool, especially for $30.

I'm glad your Arctic home is melting. It's been great feeling the weather change over the past few months. I can't imagine what you must've been going through with so much snow for so long. Be well and enjoy all of your new knives!

I saw one a few of those on the folder only trip a while back. One heck of a knife.

Man I wish they made a Mini version of that blade. I would be all over it. They are SWEET knives. I love mine.
