I finally got a new CS Recon1 , was wondering if this knife really that though how people say . This weekend I had a chance to use it and abuse it .
1 food.
works well nothing special . maybe little thick blade for food. 3.4 mm
.
2.wood
lock works damn well I even threw it couple of times , just like new nothing at all .
lock has a lot more travel then regular back lock , you really need to press it to open .
spyderco chinook and recon . you can see difference in lock traveling distance .
knife has no steel liners just thick g10 .
.
only problem I found was a clip , it is so tight you will kill your pants so I bend mine to make it little more pocket friendly .
.
.
new pics ,
that was easy . still sharp.
.
now fun part , old HP desktop pc , steel side of the case .
lock still works fine , no cheeps , may need little sharpening , tip is not bend !!!
.
.
I think this is great knife for the money and better when some more expensive folders .
