Awhile back CS sent me a RS, I finished working with it last weekend. What I did has been described in the review forum.

The knife shows cosmetic wear on the handle and the blade has lost about 1.5 mm of width because I had to work some chips out. The edge is functionally sharp and will shave in places but it is moderately rough in others, no visible deformation, though. The guard is a little loose meaning it can be moved but it still solid. The coating has worn somewhat along the edge from heavy chopping and moreso along the spine mainly because I hit it with an axe a few times.

Anyway, the knife has been donated to Bladeforums and a draw will be done for it. Whoever wins, enjoy it. It is a solid performer.

That would be perfectly okay. At least we won't cringe with the first scratch, as there isn't any to begin with.
