CS Spetznas Shovel question

can any1 give me detailed info about the sheath that comes with the shovel, can additions be sewed upon it??
 
Greetings to all in this electronic tribe.

Just got my shovel from the Cherokee in which it has been living these past few months. I didn't get this one from Cold Steel, don't know if the cover is the same. The cover is cotton webbing, looks sewable, the loops look like they would take a 2 1/4 inch belt and the shovel is retained by a short leather strap and belt type buckle.
A file gets it wicked sharp but it looks just like a....shovel.
