CS spike hawk any good for throwing?

Picked up a CS spike hawk on eBay earlier today. It was $25+shipping. Figured not too bad for something I'll beat the hell out of. I plan on learning to throw it. If I enjoy it, maybe I'll upgrade. But is it a decent hawk to learn how to throw?

The spike is a little back heavy but I liked the way it throws. It digs right in when you throw it spike forward or blade forward. Have fun playing.

What Pipeman said, I like the weight myself. If it over rotates it will stick upside down with the spike,

I personally like the spike hawk for many reasons. I shortened the haft of mine to make it handle better if used for fighting and it does over rotate a bit but sticks with the spike if it does. You just have to play with it and learn how yours performs.
