How does Tai Pan compare to the Boker Applegate? Balance, feel, and quality wise?? I have the Boker Applegate, Like every thing about it except the handle is little slipery sometimes. Thanks for the input.

The Tai Pan is a larger knife so I'm not sure a direct comparison is appropriate. It does have a soft Kraton handle, though, and that sounds like it will appeal to you. I would condsider both knives to be pretty similar in terms of fit, finish and function (ah, now I can refer to these as the 3 F's) as long as you factor in the size differential. Take care.

I love the Tai Pan.
It is very light in the hand and a just a kick ass knife. It's point has been tested not to break under hard use (which is not recommended).
As far as skipping goes, you won't have to worry about. It's fairly soft checkered kraton handle works better than duct tape.
