Anyone know what CS51 steel is? What is it comparable to? I'm looking at a Blackjack Warner Moran Rio Grande knife description. It says the knife is made of CS51 steel, which I've never heard of.

The same carbon content of 1050 carbon.

Blackjack says it's a modified 5160 with Molybdenum added for toughness.

Sounds like a blend of 5160 and S5.

Probably best for swords and axes rather then knives IMHO.

But should make a good chopper
