Csar 1st impressions per Street Soldier request

Hmmm, a thought just occured to me (a rare occurance lately). Even though I have one of the CSAR's, I don't really have a clue what the actual intended use for the knife is.

As mentioned before, it doesn't look or feel like a hunting or skinning knife. It almost looks more suited to combat! Kinda like an M-16 or something along those lines.

If it was a fixed blade, it would maybe be good for prying abalone (Paua) off the rocks, but that could be done easier (and way cheaper) with a tire iron or a pry bar.:D

i think it is intended as a mil type knife
i liked the heft and fit / finish of the one i seen in atlanta
and no i did not think it was a hunting knife at all
it could be use full on a construction site though!

Just curious dave, what would you use it for on a construction site? I worked construction for nearly 50 years and can't remember ever needing something like that. I always carried a knife of some kind. Usually a lockback or folding hunter type.
