• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Grit and nylatron washers don't exist in the same universe. It's like an unmovable object and an unstoppable object meeting each other.
Have you considered the possibility that it is actually the whole world around that is gritty and the knife is the only thing that isn't?

I mentioned the washers, in fact, because I didn't think it has to do with the pivot. I think it may have something to do with the detent ball rubbing against the Titanium but I'm not sure what I can do about it.

That's probably exactly what it is. The blade is probably and blasted or bead blasted?

The easiest easy to correct it is to put a bit of oil near the detent and open/close it many times.
