Cuda 7.0 Framelock

also try tightening that pivot. that'll help center the blade a little bit.

it's a trade off game. too tight and the blade won't come out smoothly. too loose and the blade won't be centered and it'll play.

you'll have to tinker with the pivot some more. throw some locktite on the pivot screw and drive it into the pivot. tighten it till it's just about too tight to open the blade. when the knife is closed, it'll probably pretty centered at that tight a setting. then slowly, slowly back the pivot screw out, constantly trying to open/close the blade. keep your eye on that blade being centered. when you've reached the point where the blade is still pretty centered and the pivot action is relatively smooth, then leave the knife alone for a while and let that loctite dry.

and then throw the knife away and find a lockback or axis lock. ;)

hope it helps.

Haha, see? Linerlocks/framelocks suck suck suck. Get yourself a benchmade griptilian and use it for the rest of your life. ;)

Steer me towards the Benchmade griptillians with 7" D2 blades and Ti handles, for around $200. Oh, Wait- there isnt any.

200 dollars is alot to pay for a knife that has that many problems, send it back when you get a bit bored with it. I bought a 30 dollar nieto folder that has none of these problems but hey im afraid i really dont know what im talking about, good luck fella :)

I agree with you, It is just that I dont want to have to send it in if I dont have to. :)
