Anyone else got one of these? I got mine today and noticed the blade play it had. It isn't much but you can hear it when you shake it. I was wondering if this was normal, or if its under cammillus warranty?
Any info will eb appreciated as i am very skeptical about blade slopp and can't live with it:(

Edited to add:will tightening the pivot help this at all??[

See the makers and manufactors forum. Seem to be alot of problems with cuda maxx. Camillus claims they will resolve all issues.

The CUDA Maxx is designed by Darrel Ralph but is made by Camillus, so emailing Darrel won't accomplish anything other than him referring you to Camillus. See if tightening the pivot screw will fix it. If not, send it to Camillus and they'll make it right.

I wrote both Camillus and D.Ralph. Quick question, Will Camillus warranty a product without receipt of purchase??
Thanks

Hi Nugg. Yep there seems to be several people who have received a "bad" MAXX stilleto. I had one and traded it. Mine did not exhibit the problems that I am now reading about, although it did completely cover the blade tang upon lockup. The bowie bladed MAXX I have covers about 1/3 of the blade tang on lockup and I have not read about ANY problems of this sort with the bowie bladed MAXX's.

It looks like the locks may have been cut too short on the stilleto models, or perhaps the blade tang was too short. I would not hesitate to tell you to call or email Camillus. Will Fennel has addressed these problems over on the Camillus board as has already been said. Check it out and it gives you an email address and a phone number you can contact through.

Don't worry.......Camillus will make it right!!

From what im hearing it sounds like Camillus has a decent warranty, so im just gonna send it in. Has anyone received cuda max w/this problem and have it repaired? If so, did it come back tight and right?
Thanks
