CUDA MAXX 5.5 - what materials?

I just preordered one of those and then it struck me. I don´t even know the stuff those beauties are made of. Can anybody help me out?

From what I have read in the spec. The blade is D-2, and the handle slabe are Titanium. You can not go wrong with that combination!!

with those materials and that price (around $150 ?), it´s a bargain!!

It's not only a bargain, it's an obsession. And here I was trying to justify Darrell's original custom version. I wouldn't mind seeing more blade styles eventually, but he even had them start with the one I like best. Oh, please, please, ship soon!
