Does anyone know the specifications of the clip screws on the CUDA Maxx Bowie? I could really use the diameter/size of the screws, the threading of the screws, and the size of the hole required prior to tapping the threads. If anyone has this information, I'd be greatly in their debt!

Plus, I promise to post pictures when I'm finished with my "project."

Are you planning on remounting your clip for tip up carry? I think the screws are 2-56, but not sure. I would locate a machine shop or a shop with a tremendous amount of fastners and check to see what they have that you might be able to use. I'm sure though that the screws are a standard size.

Bingo! :D

I dug through a couple sets of taps and I couldn't find anything that fit. I just figured Camillus could tell me real quick.

A yellow pages search might turn up a buisness that sells fastners of different types. If so you could probably take one of the screws out and take it in and have it identified. These folks should then be able to tell you which drill bit and which tap will be needed. Of course you could go online to Koval or another knife parts supply shop and probably find exactly what you need. Good luck on the project!
