Cuda Maxx Edge hits the standoff

Noticed the edge has a flat spot where it's been hitting the middle standoff. Anyone else have this happen?
Bowie Plain Edge 5.5 inch blade, looks to be a newer model.

Let me play with the knife for a bit ( I just got it) I may then send it in.

Can't see anyway to adjust the closing as the studs make a solid contact with a scales. May have had the pivot a bit too loose and it allowed the blade to move further than intended. I will clean up the edge and see if it happens again. ( I have taken out pivot play )

Mine did that. The blade stop studs came loose and let the blade hit the standoff. I put loctite on the studs, and it never happened again.
