It was REALLY stupid.
Two people were tied with a tie wrap. They asked me to free them since there were no scissors near (college activity).
Yes, everyone knows I have a knife, so when they have something to cut, I'm the one.
I was focusing in not hurting them. Cutting upward to be sure not to touch them. Should have focused on me too.
The tiewrap broke and the blade continued it's way to my face. Right between my eyes. One inch on my nose, another on my forehead. I oculd have lost an eye.
But the knife was really sharp, so it looks like a razor cut and it should heal easily. But it wakes you up. That knife is too powerful for EDC. I even told the guys before that happened: "It would be easier with my combo edge Heat. "
Well. I learned that the knife is not always the best tool.
So, short answer:
By acting dumb.
