The butt's too big.

It off balances the whole peanut effect of a trim little knife with nice lines. This lookalike it's been sitting on its rear end too much while snacking non stop.
I think I have to agree. The quality of the knife is really nice. However. I’m not sure I would call this pattern a Peanut. It’s too big and the bottom bolster is not right. Otherwise, it is a really nice knife for the price 👍

I wouldn't be too hard on it, it's a great looking pocket knife! The blade grinds look nice and crisp, the blue bone is just drop dead gorgeous. The bone to bolster fit looks great with no gaps I can see in the pics. So okay, its a bit fat for a true peanut, but its still a great lookin pocket knife.👍

Well, I just completed my 30 Day Peanut Challenge on Saturday. I just wanted to re-affirm my affection for the Case Peanut. I never went a full 30 days straight with one pattern of knife since my Buck 301 I bought way back in 1975 through 1985.
As we all know, the Peanut will handle most of what is needed in a civilized society's cutting needs. I have many knives and I enjoy them all. The Peanut for me hits the sweet spot along with the Case 087 medium Jack. My job does not require any heavy duty cutting, I only hunt a little these days, small game mostly and I fish a bit. The Peanut and similar small knives cover me well. I don't collect, I accumulate. Peanut for the Win!
