Cult of the SLIPIT

One of my two most carried pocket knives is the Urban LW K390. That knife is a real treat. The blade length, at 2.6" is about perfect, and I love the feel of the knife in hand as well as in pocket. Of course, the steel is really great. This is a no-regret purchase.

I have a Pingo and it is a great knife, but I do not carry it very much at all, anymore. I had a Squeak and could never like it so I gave it to a woman moving to Germany. She likes it.

Urban K390 and UKPK here. I'd honestly really love to see something like a Chaparral, with that wicked thin blade, in a SLIPIT format.
I'd really like to see a Jess Horn slip joint. Maybe a little bigger than the baby version out now.

That's a good idea on the Jess Horn. I'm thinking as knife laws are changing some of the makers are slowly coming up with more slip joints.

Whilst I can legally carry locking knives with no problem, I grew up with non locking knives and regard the lock as convenient not as a necessity. The UKPK and the PITS see regular carry, the Terzoula and DKPK not as much as they should and the others, probably because they have shorter blades and are not designed as one hand openers, not so much (even with the thumb studs the Pingo doesn't often crack the nod).
