Cult of the Texas Jack; why should the peaNUTS get all the glory

Scrolling through this thread the other day gave me the urge to dig out my TJ and i have enjoyed carrying it so much i have gone ahead and ordered a matching Stockman to go with it, so i may be giving my GECs a rest for a while.

After carrying mine over the last week I think a stockman will be on the way soon as well.

Go on you know it makes sense Shawn, mine should be with me in 7 to 10 days and given where it is coming from it should be in a stagecoach, har har...

The gleam of this right-sized Imperial caught my eye as I was rummaging through my clean-em box earlier. Think I'm going to move it to the front of the line, clean it up right and stick it in the pocket rotation.

Picked up this little Kutmaster at the city wide garage sale today. The whole thing was some rusty slim pickens so I was excited to find this one. Just a quick wipe down and flushing out the joints and it's ready for daily carry. Both blades snap like new and barely look like they've seen use. Any ideas on age? The jigged delrin handles haven't shrunk a bit. Only real flaw is the semi circle around the middle pin. Not sure what could have caused that...

I still have my amber bone/CV, my Olive green like the one above, and a stag/CV model.

The "rocker pin" heads are spun instead of being peened. The circle you see around the head of the pin is caused by the tool used to spin the pins.

Shown here next to the modest SAK cadet, the case small texas jack is very pocket friendly.

Very nice Blaine, GREAT patina on your Jack:cool: Haven't seen you in far to long, hope you are well:thumbup:

Thanks, Paul! I bought it mostly unused from a fellow BFer about a year ago.

Otherwise, everything is ok.

Sorry to disagree but the box says it is a Case Texas Jack.

From the W. R. Case website:

The dealer may have pulled the wrong box for the knife. Still a great knife, just not the one this thread is about.
