I'm still waiting on my "first" Busse, a GW. Okuden has it for sheath. I hope it's as sharp as the Warden you received, UJ.

for what it's worth, while my new ASH1 didn't arrive literally dull - it really wasn't very sharp at all and no where near shaving-sharp. the only underwhelming thing about any otherwise amazing knife... no worries though, I need practice using a two-sided stone anyway. ymmv.

Mine would not shave at all. It's probably not proper to mention on this forum, but I expected more for the price. Nowhere close to a Dozier, May, Ingram, etc in terms of sharpness.

Obviously, you need to drink more of the Kool-Aid.







No worries; we have no problem with fair and constructive criticism. Variations in sharpness has been mentioned here before, and yes it should be better.
