cultivator shovel found steel

I am making a knife from a cultivator shovel and starting to think about how I can heat treat it. In the past I have only done 01 steel. Would you thnk it is much the same thing,basically heat to non magnetic and quench in oil bake at 400F ofr 2 hours.

think 1085 (?) and do something that you can repeat to make it consistent.

If it were me, I would try a slightly lower first temper, and edge flew it to see if it will chip, see how it sharpens and cuts? You can re bake it higher if you see the need.

Experimenting is half the fun.
