Exactly. I don't know where the "go button" lingo came from but it is confusing for newbies, and really makes no sense. You need to watch the five forums she refered to and wait for the thread that says "GO!".
 
Sorry for the other newb question, but why is it so imperative that we order on the exact second that the go button is released? Are there only a certain number of blades being made so only the first 50 (or whatever the number is) people will get them?

Correct. Many times the number of knives is limited but not known; so first come, first served.
 
And is the go button only posted on one of the 5 sites? So I have to watch them all simultaneously? Thx

Correct. I have sat out most 'Ganzas the last couple years, so can't remember if the Go thread will also get posted here on the home forum.

IIRC the last 2 Ganzas the Go was posted on the Busse subforum. The one before that was on the Swamp rat forum. I think there was one where we had to do an emergency plan, but I may remember wrong it was a few years back.
At least BF has good servers and can handle the traffic of numerous web site refreshes fairly well, unlike the recent ZT 0392 issues those dealers had.
 
The key to Ganzaa success is to drink as much as you can prior to 9pm, that way your hog senses will be sharp for the battle!:D

DO NOT fall for this as so many have in the past and be left out in the cold.********

Why not disqualify people who do this? It just makes an already tedious process on forums that are slow on a good day that much worse.

Why play games?

Why not just stay in a hotel?

Why not just buy all your food at the grocery store?

Why not just use a lighter and lighter fluid?

Why not just buy the one with the smaller, less powerful, more fuel efficient engine?

Why not just use the drive-thru?
