Juniper or Red Cedar as it's commonly known as is an aromatic wood prized for "Cedar Chests" which are wonderful for storing woolens in.
Bugs don't like the cedar so they don't bother the clothes or feathers or other textile goods.
Red cedar is also a beautiful grained wood running from the whiteish yellow sap wood to a light brown to red to purple heart wood with what can be very sudden changes from one color to another.
The heart wood is the most prized since that's where the aromatics are.
Cedar is Sacred to most ndn people since it's an evergreen and represents eternity because it never dies over the winter like deciduous trees do.
